We are currently looking for an

Engineer Software (m/f/d)

to join one of our teams in the research and develop­ment (R&D) depart­ment in Feldkirchen, Germany, part of the product area Critical Care at Getinge.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Software Development in the field of Patient Monito­ring
  • Application and Embedded Software Development according to IEC 62304 standard including documenta­tion
  • Creation of Product Requirements, contribution to SW Architec­ture and Detailed Design
  • Verification and validation in accordance with appli­cable standards
  • Development of highly attractive user inter­faces

We are looking for:

  • Relevant degree in computer science, electrical engineering, medical enginee­ring or comparable
  • Profound knowledge of C++ (at least C++14)
  • Experience with state-of-the-art software develop­ment methods (source control, continuous integration, unit testing, code reviews)
  • Min. 1 year experience in software develop­ment
  • Practical experience in a regulated environ­ment, preferably medical industry
  • Fluent written and spoken English and preferably also German
  • Self-sufficient working style, proactive know­ledge acquisition
  • Positive approach, can do attitude
  • Located in Greater Munich area that also allows working on-site in Feldkirchen on 2 to 3 days a week (hybrid working)

Additional preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of Qt
  • Experience with ARM based SoCs, i.MX8 or similar
  • Background in working in an agile environ­ment
  • Practical knowledge with Embedded Linux (e.g. Yocto)
